Episode 07: Social Justice - A Conversation about Racism with Natashia Deon

Let’s get real: this week’s episode was hard to record. For all of us. It’s full of awkward moments, less than perfect words, and a whole lotta flaws. But that’s ok. Because it’s still important to step into the ring and have conversations even when it won’t be perfect. We know we didn’t get it all right, but we are so grateful to Natashia Deon - criminal law attorney, author, NAACP Image Award Nominee, founder of Redeemed Project and the author behind the #EndArrestExecutions proposed law - for her grace and vulnerability and especially her willingness to teach us all. There is so much Good to be done in Social Justice, and we are not helpless.
